Bamarang Bush Retreat is set on 120 acres of ancient bushland in a prehistoric river valley with handmade accommodation, offering privacy and seclusion amongst the towering gumtrees only 2.5 hours from Sydney or Canberra. Alongside the Shoalhaven river and within close proximity to the white sands of Jervis Bay, the retreat accommodates environmentally conscious individuals, couples, families and groups seeking to get back to nature in a unique, creative space. The collection of accommodations can be rented out exclusively and individually.
The main house, a collection of three double-storey houses made by mud-bricks and reclaimed materials, accommodating up to 36 people. With open plan living throughout, an eclectic decorative style, interconnected by undercover pathways, courtyard gardens, and verandahs there is plenty of space inside and out. The sprawling undercover deck configured around an outdoor fireplace, lounge space and dining area with two BBQs overlooking the valley. The beauty of the Shoalhaven River is a short walk down the easement. The yoga hall across the back yard of the main house is available for yoga groups and retreats, by arrangement.
