Yoga: Alison Dale
Alison has completed multiple trainings with world-renowned teachers—Noah Maźe, Elena Brower, Lizzie Lasater—in styles from vinyasa, to alignment, to restorative. Her classes encourage a playful curiosity, helping students uncover their innate potential through her unique blend of lightness and depth. Her sequences are skillfully crafted to empower students to peel open their protective layers and reconnect with the heart of the practice.
For Alison, yoga is life. During treatment for cancer, yoga and meditation were the means by which she stepped into boundless depths of love and strength and clarity. The practice kept her grounded and resilient through years of treatment. She runs yoga classes in various locations in Cairns and brings a lived experience of the potency and power of the practice.
“I came to yoga for the physical benefits. I stayed for the deepening sense of clarity, insight and connection it brought into my life. The simplest way I can describe the benefits of yoga, is to say—everything is easier when I’m immersed in the practice.
Along the way, I’ve been lucky enough to learn from some of the world’s most renowned teachers. The greatest joy in my life is seeing my students come alive. More fully attuned to the timeless, more fully embodied and whole.”
