  • Greater environmental awareness and understanding basic permaculture principles
  • Increase in mental clarity and overall well-being

  • The experience of camping out with a supportive group of people that builds friendships to last a lifetime

If you are looking for getaway to bring in your year in a relaxed atmosphere, connecting with yourself and with nature, then our Eco Adventure Yoga Retreats are the perfect option. We have daily yoga classes, permaculture projects and nature reconnection activities over the 5 days. We will work with the 5 elements, one for each day. We tune into the essence of each element and use the surroundings to optimise our relationship with it, bringing about greater harmony, health and vitality.

This time immersed in nature will be complimented with a beautiful morning at a pristine beach, enjoying sunrise beach yoga and an optional surf lesson to celebrate the water element.

Come and experience a mindfulness retreat with a difference while still getting the time out you need. Higher Ground is an off-grid sustainable living project set amongst 146 acres of protected coastal bush-land, adjacent to the amazing coastline of Yuragir National Park.

A newly evolving permaculture venture, we welcome guests, friends and willing workers into a unique and authentic experience. Cultivating deeper connections with the earth, the cycles of nature and the true sense of community.

This is your opportunity to really get away from it all, settle into a daily yoga practice and learn about new ways of sustainable living. We welcome you to drop into a safe space to truly experience the healing power of nature and the magic of the Australian Bush.

The yoga will consist of gentle yoga classes in the morning and afternoon Yin Yoga with props.

We have a beautiful dedicated yoga space in the main house overlooking the garden open to the sunrise and the sunset. On this retreat our focus will be on re-connection in the morning to
assist in grounding into your body and breath, primarily through a gentle flow sequence.

This more active yoga style will also be complemented withafternoon yin yoga for deep release and relaxation, allowing you to assimilate the excitement of a day in the garden or at the beach.
And don’t worry: the yoga is adapted to accommodate both complete beginners and experienced yogis so you will be completely supported to progress at your own level over the 5 days.
